YES Family Camp

Family Camp activities will include team building, archery, rock climbing, zip line, campfire, night hikes, drumming, arts & crafts, and environmental and health & wellness education.

We will be inviting a limited number of families to participate in this program from Nystrom and Verde Elementary Schools.

Each family will be assigned their own cabin. Families will be asked to only bring family members who are directly related to each other and living in the same house.

While the restrooms will be cleaned three times a day, we will be relying on families to keep their areas clean and take necessary precautions while using the camp facilities. There will be hand sanitizer at all higher traffic areas such as archery, restrooms, dining hall pickup window, rock wall, and zip line, and we will be eating outdoors.

There will be a mandatory orientation. At least one parent or legal guardian must attend the orientation. We will remind you of this meeting as the camp date approaches.

Application coming soon! We look forward to being in community and in nature with you!

Because there is still a risk of Coronavirus transmission in indoor/enclosed spaces, we will be inviting a limited number of families to participate in this program, and we will not be able to provide transportation as we have in the past.

Families will need to drive themselves and arrive at camp which is approximately 1.5 - 2 hours away from Richmond, at 6 pm on Friday on the first day of camp. The camp will end on Sunday, at 11 am.

To keep everyone healthy and safe, we encourage everyone who is age-eligible (16 and over) to get vaccinated.

We will ask everyone to wear face coverings and keep 6 feet apart from others outside of their immediate families throughout the whole weekend.
