Josue Solano-Del Rio,
Peer Advocate

Josue (he/him) has been a part of YES for over six years, since joining the program at age 12. After graduating from the Youth Leadership Pathway, he became YES’s Peer Advocate Intern in January 2023 where he helps guide current C2C participants through the program and assists with the facilitation of meetings and outings.

Josue is a student at Contra Costa Community College and plans to transfer to a four-year university to study business. Outside of work and school, he enjoys gaming and exploring the East Bay with friends.
