Richmond Roots Rite of Passage Program Outing

The Richmond Roots Rite of Passage Program is a program for girl-identified and gender-expansive youth currently in the 6th grade.

From camping to backpacking, the program aims to promote physical activity and grow young people's stamina while developing a deep connection to nature. Participants grow their social skills, learn about their natural surroundings, and gain skills in self-reliance, leadership, community engagement, and teamwork in a small group of 8.
