Saul Cuevas-Landeros, Program Assistant

Saul (he/him/his) joined YES in January 2024 as a Program Assistant. Saul, a native of Oakland, CA, gained a love for outdoor recreation from his participation in Bay Area youth summer and winter camps. Whether it's scaling mountain peaks, backpacking through pristine wilderness, or engaging in a spirited game of rugby, Saul is always up for an adventure.

After finishing his B.A. in Philosophy and Digital and Computational Studies, Saul was ready to further foster his passion for the outdoors and see what kind of new connections and intersections he can find between the natural, digital, and philosophical realms. Saul’s time in various mentoring and youth engagement roles has him excited to apply his knowledge with YES.
